My profile picture

My name is Katarina Wagner.
I'm a certified counsellor and integrative forest therapist based in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Counsellor

I'm a Level 5 qualified counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have worked as a counsellor for the mental health charity Mind for 3 years before starting my own practice in 2022.
Over the years I have worked with clients suffering from anxiety and depression, grief, anger issues and general feelings of being lost and unhappiness.

I'm an integrative counsellor which means I'm trained to use a variety of counselling theories and approaches depending on the needs of the client.
You can find an overview of the various therapy types here.

I'm currently studying to become an eco-psychotherapist.
Ecotherapy is an approach that does not focus purely on treating an individual in isolation but rather as part of society and the natural world as a whole as these are interconnected.

Integrative Forest Therapist

In 2022 I became an integrative forest therapy practitioner certified by Nádúr, a Centre for Integrative Forest Therapy in Ireland.
I have led a series of forest therapy walks with people suffering from mental health issues as well as people with caring responsibilities.

I have been humbled by the positive response from participants of the walks. I strongly believe in the power of the natural world to help us find calm and balance in our lives.
The positive effects of forest therapy on our physical health have also been scientifically proven.
